Hub Activities

The Hub is open on Fridays between 10 -12 and we look forward to seeing you for coffee, catch up and advice. This includes Friday 14th April. But there will be no English classes on the 14th as it is the Easter holidays – however, we are still open for coffee and chat and we look forward to seeing you.

English classes continue to be run at Salisbury Methodist Church on Thursdays and Fridays and begin again after the Easter holidays on the 20th and 21st April.

Date for your diary – there is to be a Garden Party on the 4th June (12 – 4pm) in Jane`s garden, 56a The Close with funds being raised for children’s charities and Silver Salisbury. We hope there will be a Ukrainian stall joining the fundraising and other stalls on the day.

Kid`s cooking – please could you register interest for any primary or secondary aged children wishing to take part in this activity during the summer holidays. Please contact sonnya@salsiburyukrianehub.org.uk

English Reading Sessions

For anyone who has a good level of English and would like to improve their reading skills there is an opportunity to receive free 1:1 support weekly with a trained coach. If you are interested in accessing this please contact Scott Haines at scott.haines@shannontrust.org.uk

Fun for the Family

Big Green Week – 13th June Family Fun Event at the Nadder Centre, Tisbury.
A lovely event is taking place at the Nadder Centre, Tisbury SP3 6HJ on the 13th June from 3.00pm, with free food and fun interactive stalls all on a nature recovery theme.  This event is being facilitated by the South West Wiltshire Area Board and the Cranborne Chase and Chalke Partnership. Martial Arts – Any children (or adults) interested in Taekwon-do or Kickboxing should contact info@aspire-martial-arts.co.uk . Everyone is welcome

If you are looking for a warm and friendly space to meet friends perhaps try the Salisbury Playhouse between 1 – 4pm Monday to Saturday for tea and coffee and free WIFI

Support for the Family

If you have children aged between 0- 5 years there are a host of activities from April to June in Wiltshire which you might be interested in. Please see flyer for further details.

Moving from Host to Homes

This is a reminder that while vouchers and stock lasts those moving into rented accommodation may contact either sonnya@salsiburyukrianehub.org.uk or sarah@salisburyukrainehub.org.uk for vouchers and starter packs. However, this support is available for those living in Wiltshire only. Please do not pass details to friends living outside Wiltshire.
